LUCIA ... DO NOT EVER MISS YA!!

Believe me, I was nervous! As I had built too much of expectations on LUCIA. I was fearing that whether Pawan Kumar would meet my expectations. We could not wait until Saturday, rushed to near by Taakisu for a night show on Friday. The movie started I was taking heavy breaths. After a while in in an interrogation scene a detective asks a character "what is this?" and character answers "Lucia!" ... wow that was the moment I decided this is going to an interesting film! Because I always wondered what might be "Lucia" in the film, name of Heroine? a foreign lady? or a dog's name? but it was something else... It was something that I never expected. According to me that is one of the success formulae. Pawan not just met my expectations but exceeded to a larger extent. Pawan knows the art of making films. Such a depth in the story, so many twists, surprises, humor.. I like the way it is mixed and edited. It is a big difference from Lifeu iShtene. He is much more matured director now! I am proud to have him in Kannada Film industry. Kannada film industries have seen so many great directors so far. However, according to me, he is the most innovative and genius director after Shankar Nag. I am also an online distributor for Lucia. But I would love to see Lucia many more times in theatre before I stream the film over the net! Sathish shines with his lively acting and punchy dialogue delivery and timing.

Great job Pawan and team!! You raised the bar again...!

I started admiring Pawan Kumar, one of the most talented and genius Director I have ever seen, after watching his "Lifeu IshTene". It was something different. I then keenly started watching his activities related to Movies. One day when I heard that he started conducting film making work shops. I wanted to be part of that workshop, registered as well. However, unfortunately could not attend as he changed the venue at the last moment. I was very much disappointed. Eventually when he started his Lucia project I was again excited and wanted to be part of the crue. But I could not do so as there was an overwhelming response by others who acted faster than me :). Now, Lucia is made. I again had a chance to pre-order. This time I did!! I am finally part of his film in some way. This is a small way of supporting him in his great venture.
